UB's Skype for Business server is not configured to dial phone numbers. Meeting participants call 716-645-9000 and enter a Conference ID supplied by the meeting invitation to get into the meeting by phone. This is applicable for Windows desktop, Mac and Linux. This is not available on mobile or tablet. If for some reason Skype cannot connect to your proxy server, please contact your network administrator to verify or manually configure your proxy settings.
I am following you for the last 5 years in UC, right now I am having issue with Skype Office Web app. I have published everything as per you guidance but unfortunately the presentation is not uploading in the lync 2013 or skype for business as well, second I am unable to logon to lync 2013 or skype for business client over handheld. I've been having issues with my Skype for Business on iOS 10 on my iPhone 7. I have the most recent version of SFB installed. I am unable to sign in to my SFB on my iPhone. I get various errors, some say that the server cannot be contacted, and then there is the one in the image attached: 'You're not configured to connect to the server. It's Skype for Business Server. I checked everything that you said and everything seems to be in order since Android users do not have this problem. The certificate is the only thing that I might need to recheck because we use a certificate from StartComSSL, so that might be the problem.
autodetect was't working when i was connected on-prem... interestingly, it worked fine when i was external so i knew i had a shot... i've seen this issue mentioned in numerous other support forums
typical error message: You're not configured to connect to the server.
steps that worked for me:
You Are Not Configured To Connect To The Server Skype For Business Macbook
- pull working Windows configs by CTRL+RightMouse on Skype tray icon > Configuration Information
- based on educated guess i took the 'DG URL Internal/External' https: urls and plugged them into skype's [advanced options] page
- also on windows, i also exported the certificate from the browser for the above server and imported it into mac's keychain
- i exported the .p7b format INCLUDING the parent certificate chain
- i imported as 'system' level
- and made sure to TRUST it after it was imported (in mac KeyChain Access app, search by server name, right mouse on the entry > get info > trust)
